Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas Maruarar Sirait, together with West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi and Purwakarta Regent Saepul Bahri Binzein, conducted a site visit to the Hunian Warisan Bangsa Purwakarta project on April 14, 2026.
This visit is part of the efforts in accelerating the national three million housing program initiated by President Prabowo Subianto, in which HWB Purwakarta is designed to expand access to home ownership, improve quality of life, support social mobility, and contribute to poverty alleviation, particularly in the Purwakarta region.
During the visit, Minister Maruarar Sirait emphasized the importance of affordable housing as a key solution for the broader community.
“This is a very important breakthrough. Quality housing at affordable prices like this is key to opening access to home ownership for the wider community. This is not only about housing, but also about the future and dignity,” said Maruarar Sirait.

West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi also highlighted the potential of Purwakarta to serve as a model for development that delivers broader social impact.
“Purwakarta is ready to become a model. This development is not just about building houses, but about shaping the lives and future of the people of West Java,” said Dedi Mulyadi.

HWB Purwakarta offers highly affordable housing, with one bedroom units starting from IDR 98 million and two bedroom units starting from IDR 115 million, significantly below the current market average of above IDR 160 million.
The financing scheme is structured to be accessible, with monthly installments starting from approximately IDR 500 thousand. For one bedroom units, an initial installment program of around IDR 170 thousand per month is available during the first 15 months.
In addition to affordability, HWB Purwakarta is developed with comprehensive planning, supported by adequate infrastructure and an integrated community concept.
The project commenced in July 2025, secured all required permits by October 2025, and was officially launched in March 2026 under a pre selling scheme. Since its launch, the project has recorded sales of more than 1,500 units within a short period, positioning it as a scalable model to support the national housing program.
With an investment value of approximately IDR 1.5 trillion, the project emphasizes local empowerment, with more than 95 percent of materials and contracts sourced from within West Java, and over 80 percent of the workforce originating from the local region. This approach creates a strong multiplier effect, stimulating local economic activity and strengthening the regional economy.
