LippoLand, through PT Lippo Cikarang Tbk. (LPCK) continues to demonstrate its commitment to supporting the empowerment of local communities’ economies. One of the tangible manifestations of this commitment is the facilitation of a small business promotion event titled “Local MSME Showcase”, held from August 23 to 24, 2025, at Lippo Mall Cikarang.
This initiative is part of the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) program under the PASTI framework—Pintar (Smart), Asri (Green), Sejahtera (Prosperous), Tangguh (Resilient), and Independen (Independent). The exhibition focuses on the Independent pillar, which aims to build economically self-reliant communities through various training programs, empowerment initiatives, and MSME product promotions.
The Local MSME Showcase featured three local entrepreneurs from Bekasi Regency, presenting a variety of quality handmade products. These included Batik Canting Ayu, known for its signature Bekasi batik motifs; Kayu Arem, a creative wooden craft business; and macrame products.
The macrame crafts were created by female sanitation workers who had previously participated in training organized by LippoLand. They received direct guidance from professional instructors from the Bermain Tali community, which specializes in macrame-based crafts. In an interactive and educational environment, participants learned to create three creative products: Pot Holders, Tumbler Holders, and Phone Bags.

President Director of PT Lippo Cikarang Tbk, Marlo Budiman, expressed his pride in the company’s contribution to local economic growth.
“We are proud that Lippo Cikarang can play a part in improving the local economy of Bekasi Regency. Through activities such as the Local MSME Showcase, we aim to create greater opportunities for local entrepreneurs to grow and gain broader recognition. This is part of our ongoing commitment to contributing sustainably to building an independent and prosperous society,” said Marlo.
Through this exhibition, LippoLand hopes to strengthen an inclusive MSME ecosystem and inspire local entrepreneurs to continue growing and gaining recognition both nationally and internationally. The event also serves as an educational platform to encourage the public to appreciate and support locally made products.
