In the spirit of sharing and strengthening harmonious relationships with surrounding communities, PT Gowa Makassar Tourism Development Tbk (GMTD) once again distributed qurban animals to five mosques in the Tanjung Bunga area.

Held in preparation for Eid al-Adha 1447 H, the initiative forms part of GMTD’s annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, reflecting the company’s commitment to social welfare while fostering the values of togetherness and mutual cooperation within communities surrounding its operational area.

This year, GMTD donated five goats to five mosques in Tanjung Bunga: Masjid Nurul Iman, Masjid Jami’ Baiturrahman, Masjid Al Bilal, Masjid Nur Ilham, and Masjid Nurul Insyaf. The qurban animals will subsequently be distributed to underprivileged residents living in the surrounding communities.

The symbolic handover ceremony took place on Monday, May 25, 2026, at the GMTD office compound and was attended by members of the company’s management team, including Wahyudin, Head of Estate Management; Totok Isdianto, Head of Project; Dian R. Winarno, Operations Department Head; and Anggraini, Corporate Communication & CSR Manager.

Chief Operating Officer LippoLand, Jemmy Andreas Persang, stated that Eid al-Adha serves as an important occasion to strengthen social care and foster closer ties between the company and the community.

“Eid al-Adha teaches the values of sincerity, togetherness, and compassion for others. Through this qurban donation, we hope to provide meaningful benefits to the community while further strengthening the harmonious relationship that GMTD has built with residents of the Tanjung Bunga area,” he said.

Local residents and mosque administrators welcomed the donation and expressed appreciation for GMTD’s continued support of social and religious activities within the surrounding communities.

As an integrated township developer that has been growing in Makassar for more than two decades, GMTD remains committed to creating positive impact not only through physical development but also through sustainable community development programs.

This initiative also forms part of the implementation of the Sejahtera (Prosperous) pillar under the Group’s “Lippo Untuk Indonesia PASTI” framework, which focuses on community empowerment and strengthening social solidarity. Through this sharing initiative, GMTD hopes to bring blessings to all stakeholders while reinforcing the spirit of togetherness within the community.
