As part of its commitment to grow alongside surrounding communities, LippoLand through PT Gowa Makassar Tourism Development Tbk (GMTD) continues to extend support to those in need through a donation program for five orphanages located in the surrounding of Tanjung Bunga township area in Makassar.

The initiative provided financial aid and essential food packages at Harapan Mulia Orphanage, Reski Amalia Orphanage, Al Fattah Orphanage, Qudratul Ummah Orphanage, and Al Iman Orphanage. The donations are expected to help meet the children’s daily needs while supporting the operational sustainability of each orphanage.

Chief Operating Officer of GMTD, Jemmy Andreas Persang, stated that the initiative reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to delivering positive contributions to the surrounding community, particularly in supporting social welfare.

He emphasized that GMTD aims to create impact not only through physical development but also through meaningful social care. He added that the assistance is expected to bring joy and encouragement to the children in pursuing a better future.

Beyond providing support, the initiative also serves as a moment to strengthen values of togetherness and empathy within the organization. GMTD remains committed to implementing sustainable CSR programs that generate positive impact for the wider community.
